Bruce Dowell is a pastor, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, bible teacher, and author.  He is the senior pastor of Shiloh Messianic Congregation located in Crestline, California.  He is also a self-proclaimed history buff who can often be seen reading a history book.  In 2005,

he took the Christian church he pastors from its Christian roots and turned it into a messianic congregation that went deeper into the teachings, the commands, the customs of God, and the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus). Through his deep and insightful study of  Torah, he shared with anyone who would listen that it wasn't just about believing in God, it was also about living as a gentile and following the ways of God through the Jewish Messiah. After nearly five decades as a believer and follower, he realized that his newfound knowledge had to be put into writing. That is when his book "Preparing For The Father's Gift" was birthed.  His second book, "Healing Low Self  Esteem" would follow a year later.
