The Vision For Our Congregation
We at Shiloh Messianic Congregation have, as a cornerstone of vision, a passion for Yeshua (Jesus), and compassion for people. Our God-given mandate can be stated in three basic commitments.
First, and foremost, we bring praise, thanksgiving and glory to His Name. (Rev. 4:11)
Second, we are advancing His kingdom both in quality and quantity, by seeking and saving the lost. (Matt. 28:19-20)
Third, we are training, disciplining and bringing believers to maturity fruitfulness in the lives of believers by restoring them back to Torah! (Col 1: 9 – 10)
1. We were created for Adonai's pleasure. (Rev. 4:11) Therefore, the bringing of praise, thanksgiving and glory becomes the foundation of everything we do. Individual and corporate prayer and devotion on a regular basis is the only way to maintain true intimacy, fellowship and connectedness with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Because we believe that lives are changed in the presence of God, we always seek to allow for the Spirit and power of God to be seen, felt and experienced in our midst.
2. In advancing His kingdom, we look for every opportunity to bring salvation to the lost through Messiah Yeshua (Jesus the Messiah). We believe we are called to be a bridge to both Jew and Gentile, by bringing them together as One New Man, following the instructions of God, the Torah - not the teachings and traditions of man. (Matt. 15:9)
3. Quality of life can only come as we are trained, discipled and brought into maturity with Yeshua. (John 15:4-5) We are training, equipping, and encouraging all believers to serve Messiah through the restoration of Torah.
At Shiloh Messianic Congregation we see ourselves as a holy people; set apart and committed to the Lord through a deep and meaningful relationship. We are a people wholly committed to seeking and saving the lost and helping others to grow, mature, and live a lifestyle of obedience and holiness to the Lord.
